Cockatoos

The Goffin Cockatoo is one of the smallest cockatoos. They are curious, playful, lovable, cuddlers. They can talk and do tricks with training, love and attention.

Lexy is shown on the right.  Reba and Rex our feathered 2 year olds (below), keep us entertained all the time, they a both little clowns. Rex is our escape artist, he’s managed to get out of his cage multiple times. Who needs a screwdriver when Rex is around!

Goffins have a crest of feathers on their heads that they can raise when curious, alert, or scared;  when the crest is down they are relaxed and calm. The body is mainly white except for pink to salmon feathers on the head  around the beak and crest. The underside of the wings and tail are a pale yellow.
